"schatzi" is a term of endearment

i just want to share with you of these jokes.

i love the gmail chat. it's the only way i talk to anyone, really. especially my faraway familys.

this afternoon, since i got off early for a doctor's appointment, i was on the gmail and both my mommy and my brother-in-law were online. by the whim of fate their chat messages seemed to present a sort of conversation to my view.

Interestingly, my mom and dad have friends that call each other "schatzi" with regularity. I remember asking my parents on a trip in Lake Powell with this company... "They call each other that all the time! What does it mean?"

Then do you remember our conversation about "schatzi" with Ammon? It changed my view of the word.

no way! the title of this post is a direct quote from my father's answer to just that question!

but i DON'T remember that conversation with ammon. oh ammon!
