what do you think about this?
here's a closer look:
the only way that i can reconcile this particular (non)design is to see it as a skinny-tall/short-squat mother/father archetype.
and while i'm all for nature and natural shapes, these trees are obviously groomed so you can't make that argument.
yet i hesitate to advocate for symmetry. no matter how many times OCD tells me symmetry is the way to go, i always end up feeling so vapid and unfulfilled.
i don't know.
i just don't know.
ps- if i were ikea, i would enclose a pattern for a seat cover in the package with my seat cushion.
does anyone know if such a thing exists? otherwise it's newspaper and eyeballing for me.

I've written papers there. I like it. Almost a hidden treasure, except it's not hidden More like a conspicuous treasure.
Where is that?
the u.
but what about the trees?
Maybe the tree on the right is sick? They should feed it better?
oh i really like that. same type of tree right?
i kind of want to think that the people who pruned them were in a fight... and didn't talk about their plan in advance. i don't know.
it's all i've got.
asymmetry is absolutely appropriate in landscaping. but that looks like nothing else but a simple mistake.
i'm so happy, al, that we still think alike in all things.
